Quality One Woodwork was founded in 1998 in Hastings, Minnesota.  Our mission was to provide consumers with affordable, well constructed unfinished oak kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities.  During the 1990’s there was growing demand for cabinetry in the upper Midwest created by home improvement retailers increased presence in these markets.  Today, that mission remains to manufacture kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities using high quality materials and construction techniques that are unique to our product lines.  In 2013 we began looking into more species options and discovered there was a need in the market for a wider variety of unfinished cabinets.  Our research indicated the need to also offer unfinished Maple, Hickory and Cherry cabinets.  After deciding on species, our attention then turned to the cabinet shell with the intent on offering something not currently available in any home improvement center, a standard all plywood cabinet shell.  Yes, plywood cabinets were available, although it was a much higher price and only in finished cabinet options with a very extended lead time.  Our Premium special order, all plywood shell cabinet, quickly grew consumer interest and continues to be a great option.  The versatility of unfinished cabinets continues to be a timeless option for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, storage, office, and garage.
